Dear Kip; Congratulations on finishing the chemo!!! We were thinking of you today and ringing a bell in our hearts and minds, even though we didn't have access to a real bell!
O happy day! What a big noise at the SofM today at 4 p.m. as many of us rang bells in the lobby. Picture and video to be sent by Kim. Tomorrow when we sing the Hallelujah chorus from Messiah at the singalong, it will be for you. Big hugs to all and lots of love, CLR
at 2:00 pm yesterday i was in a meeting with a family doctor who teaches in the medical school at queen's. she is interested in using patient blogs in her classes and i was telling her about the amazing connections that had been formed around "how's kip?" Then she said she thinks she knows of you--not through queen's but through a friend of yours who you were in grad school with at york. small world, big community.
Kip, I tried to email you the video clip from the School of Music's bell ringing, but the file size was too large. I've never uploaded to youtube before and don't know how to change the orientation of the video clip, so you'll have to turn you head sideways when you view it - anyways, you'll hear it even if you can't see it too well (it's a bit fuzzy, but it was just taken on Kim's little point and shoot camera)

As Carol-Lynn said above, we'll be singing the Hallelujah Chorus this afternoon and thinking of you!!
