Hi Friends,
We are beginning to pack up for tomorrow.
As many of your know, I have been looking forward to the Christmas season for months because it will signal the end of treatment. Julie has put up some Christmas light out front, and will be turning them on tomorrow night once I return. That will make me feel that much closer to the end. After tomorrow, only one more to go.
Much love to all of you, and I'll be in touch in a few days.
Kip
Sweetheart! Checking your blog has followed immediately upon reading the poem Contra Spem Spero, which IZ sent to me, my having indicated an interest in seeing it. I was moved to tears by this poem, and now this: you packing up, readying yourself for the assault. I am overwhelmed by your courage, your sense of humour, and your ability to love us all despite what you are facing. Yes! It will soon be over! Coraggio, Kip and Catherine.
ReplyDeleteHey Kip,
ReplyDeleteCourage and strength, my friend. You're in the home stretch!
Holding you in my thoughts, Walter
Two weeks and that's done! So if you want some tunes, here's another playlist -- one album side -- "Here Comes the Sun." I like the way they fit together. Great artists. Great lyrics. Great performances.

"Here comes the sun" is a great one. Good suggestion.
ReplyDeleteHope the day has been a sense of getting through, taking those last steps on the chemo journey. Thursday is my longest day of teaching. I always think of you during this long day, knowing it is long for you, too.
Continuing to make many dedications for your good health, long life and wisdom.
Om mane paeme hum.
Love,
Roberta
